How the lens is laid out
Magnification is strongest at the bottom of the lens and eases toward the top. You look down to read and straight ahead to see the room.

Multifocal lenses take a short adjustment period, usually three days to two weeks. Wear them at home first. Your 30 days covers the whole of it.

Before you order
Do I need a prescription?
No. These are ready-made, non-prescription magnifying readers, chosen by age band rather than by an eye examination. We do not ship them to New York, Minnesota or Rhode Island, where over-the-counter multifocal lenses cannot be sold without a prescription.
They feel odd on the first day. Is that a fault?
Usually not. Multifocal lenses need three days to two weeks before your eyes settle into the zones. Wear them at home, look down to read rather than tilting your head back, and give it a week before you decide.
What if I pick the wrong strength?
Email support@opticvisionpro.com with your order number and we will exchange the pair. Age bands are an estimate, so this happens and we plan for it.
Can I wear these instead of seeing an optician?
No. These magnify near text. They do not diagnose, treat or correct any eye condition and they are not a substitute for an eye examination. If your vision has changed suddenly, or you have eye pain or loss of vision, see an eye care professional.
